Process IIA Zoning Permit Application to construct 6 multi-family units on a 7,477 square foot parcel in the Planned Area (PLA) 6D zone. Per Kirkland Zoning Code Chapter 112, the applicant is proposing one affordable housing unit as part of the project and taking advantage of an incentive that allows two additional units ("bonus units") to be constructed. Per KZC Section 112.25.3 the applicant is proposing a modification of the common recreation open space dimensional requirement. Additional dimensional standards could be modified as part of the review process. The existing residence would be demolished as part of the project.
