VRFA FIRE STATION 36
The Valley Regional Fire Authority proposes to construct a new fire station building at 810 30th St NE in Auburn, WA on its 1.59 acre site. The proposal is to construct a new fire station of approximately 14,185 SF, two parking lots, and outdoor training area, outdoor landscape areas, as well as utility and site improvements.
The parking lots will contain a total of twenty four (24) parking spaces. Twenty-one (21) parking spaces are located next to the fire station's public entry way, while an additional three temporary parking spaces are for firefighting staff near the apparatus bays. Currently, the site is vacant and largely vegetated with grass and a few trees. There is no existing vehicular or pedestrian access to the site. Two driveways will provide vehicle and pedestrian access to the site from 30th St. NE.
Storm drainage will be replaced with four new detention vaults, but the existing drainage patterns will be maintained on the site in the proposed condition.
