Your responses and changes satisfy my concerns. However, the plans in the file do not reflect these changes. It appears the permit techs are restricting you from uploading new plans to MBP (based upon the attached memo that was uploaded to MBP by Megan Smythe Todd on August 4th) since my review line was left open, so I’m going to rev. request my review line that was due to end on July 25th even though I emailed you comments on July 21st and that should give you the green light on the transportation side of things to re-upload plans... Jim might have to modify his review line as well. In the meantime, I’ll draft the transportation approval memo for the LJ.\"\n(-DI 8.6.26)\n\nSent clarification email to applicant on 7/14 and received their response the same day. The following information is needed based upon their response and was emailed to them on 7/15/26:\n\"Hi Brendan and the architectural team, I will want to see clear cross-sections and a profile along the proposed internal truck loading route with the unobstructed vertical clearance of the ceiling continuously shown on the profile within Tower 2. The Transportation Design Manual Section 3.5.1.2-10 requires, “All driveways shall have a minimum vertical clearance of 15 feet unless otherwise approved by the Review Engineer.” Please keep in mind that as vehicles drive up an incline between floors in the parking garage, the unobstructed vertical clearance may need to extend beyond the minimum standard for the design vehicles due to the axle span and unobstructed overhead clearance, the concept is similar to AASHTO Greenbook Section 3.4.6.5, vertical clearance at undercrossings. Further, depending on the grade changes between floors, I will want to see the grade breaks and implications to ensure the design vehicles will not bottom out.\" I\u0027m leaving the review line open in case they can provide a quick response since they claim the LJ is the critical path now.
