NV/WHE - The Kirkland Urban complex has two 10,000 gallon grease interceptors buried in the ground under the garage. These are required to be serviced (pumped out) at regular intervals as directed by Kirkland's FOG program. In order to service these tanks, it requires a shutdown of Urban Plaza and the parking garage. A large vacuum tanker truck parks on Urban Plaza and connects to the piping, while a smaller truck and trailer enter the garage, open up all the access points to the interceptors and connect to the piping to service the interceptors.
