Description
WELL 9 PFAS TREATMENT FACILITY
The project proposal includes construction of a new granular activated carbon (GAC) treatment facility to remove per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) from the groundwater. The GAC treatment system consists of six 12-ft diameter pressure vessels. The proposed building footprint will be 4,890 square feet (90 ft. - 8 in. x 53 ft. - 8 in. including one occupiable pop-out). The occupancy type is F-1 Factory Industrial (moderate hazard), and will be an unoccupied space, with normal site use limited to 1 to 2 vehicles per week for operations and maintenance personnel. No chemical treatment will be installed.
