Mohamed-Existing Garage Conversion into ADU
This project involves converting an existing 1,200 square foot garage into a modern two-bedroom, two-bathroom residential unit with a kitchen. Of the total area, 994 square feet will be designated as living space, while the remaining portion will serve as a storage area. The interior will be redesigned to include two private bedrooms, two full bathrooms , an open-concept kitchen and living area, and a laundry space. All essential utilities, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC, will be installed in accordance with current residential building codes. Renovation work will include removing the garage door, framing new interior rooms, upgrading all utility systems, and finishing the space with durable materials and energy-efficient fixtures. At least one bathroom and one bedroom will be designed to meet accessibility standards. This conversion will provide valuable, high-quality living space while supporting local housing needs through a sustainable and efficient design. Construction will commence as soon as all required permits are approved.
