The Somerset Highlands Fire Flow Improvements Project (Project) is located in the Somerset Highlands (SSH) neighborhood, near the southern end of the City of Bellevue. The purpose of the project is to resolve a critical fire flow deficiency in the Somerset 1000 (SS1000) pressure zone. The affected area encompasses approximately 140 homes, Somerset Elementary School, and Forest Ridge School. The proposed project includes new 12-inch and 8-inch waterlines that will lead to improving the fire flow capacity in the SS1000 pressure zone by creating a new SS1025 pressure zone. Construction activities include trenching and excavation, finish grading and paving, and temporary erosion and sediment control (TESC) measures. It also includes a main pressure reducing valve (PRV) station and individual PRV (IPRV) assemblies on private residences, 25 120681, 25 121706
