The first story is a conversion of unconditioned to conditioned space, including adding a kitchen, bathroom and an interior stair to access the upper story.
The upper story was originally constructed as conditioned storage space, however at some point was remodeled without permits to convert it to habitable space including a sleeping room and bathroom. All of this work is included in this permit. Modifications may be required if it is found to not be code-compliant.
There is an existing 1-hour rated wall along one side of this new dwelling, that must be maintained, as it is less than 4 feet from the other dwelling.
