Ten linear feet of asbestos cement water main pipe between the Crossroads Condominium Complex and paved City of Bellevue trail adjacent to 1733 159th Ave N will be excavated and replaced with ductile iron water main pipe. A fire hydrant will be assembled solely on the Crossroads property, adjacent to paved trail and will be connected to existing ductile iron pipe. Pipe replacement will be done using open cut trenching. Work is currently underway and is anticipated to continue through September. 110 square feet of ground surface will be disturbed from trenching and related work. The work conducted will result in temporary trail closure between the Crossroads Condominium Complex and 1733 159th Ave N. See attached Traffic Control Plan for trail impacts. After work is completed, all disturbed areas will be immediately restored in kind to normal or improved condition, including 95 square feet of pavement replacement.
