Repairing drainage, particularly within the backyard (south side of property), to proceed with remodel plans. We are in the process of having permit 21 101251 BR reissued. The pandemic & increasing remodel costs caused us to take a temporary break from our remodel plans. This resulted in missing the 180-day inspection. New code requirements have resulted in costly and timely new engineering work. The engineering work has recently been completed and our architect will be resubmitting the BR permit this week.
Yesterday, I applied for a Utilities permit for this same drainage project.
Drainage plan: We are replacing clogged drainage pipes, adding 2 catch basins to collect surface water in the backyard, installing footing drains for the future 240 sq. ft. addition, and routing downspouts (x6) to SE 130th Pl. We have 1 clogged/nonworking curb outlet at the southeast corner of the property. There is no sidewalk involved. The curb outlet is 118 ft to the nearest city catch basin located at SE 6th Pl. We have 2 ft of easement to access to restore function to this curb outlet. We would like to add a second curb outlet just north of the driveway to SE 130th Pl to route drainage from 4 downspouts. If a second curb outlet and access to the 2 ft easement are not allowed, then we plan to add a NDS 430 pop-up emitter to be located at the north side of the driveway., 21101251BR
