ANAMC Water Treatment Service, Inc. is a water treatment contractor servicing more than 1,000 apartment, condominium, and hotel buildings throughout the western United States.
ANMAC seeks to install one (1) ANMAC 714-D water treatment system on each of the four (4) 3-inch main water line at BellCentre. The purpose of ANMAC's water treatment is to control significant corrosion and associated pinhole leaks in the copper potable water plumbing system. (Several pinhole leaks are occurring each year.)
Pipe saddles will be installed on the exposed main water line pipes downstream of the backflows in the backflow rooms. Stainless steel ball valves will be installed in each saddle. The saddles will be the inlet and outlet lines for the water treatment systems. A locking, ten-gauge, protective steel enclosure, size approximately 2ft by 2ft, will be set adjacent to the main water line. The water treatment dispensers will be located and secured inside these enclosures.
A NSF approved scale and corrosion inhibitor, Carus 8550, will be added into the main water line in the dosage range of approximately one part per million. Carus 8550 is certified by ANSI/NSF Standard 60, for use in potable water. It is permissible for use in drinking water and safe for human consumption. It is tasteless, odorless, and colorless. The water treatment systems will be serviced and maintained on a regular monthly basis by ANMAC. personnel. The hot and cold water will be tested monthly.
