Replace an existing CSI class B 800 MHz BDA with an 800 MHz Class A BDA and its associated donor antenna and riser cable. It also adds a battery backup unit (BBU) for the BDA.
Interconnection to an existing Mobile Access DAS and system commissioning is included. No modifications
are to be made to any other equipment as part of this project.
The current Public Safety DAS was neither designed nor installed by Day Wireless. The BDA currently in use is required to be replaced by the AHJ's radio communications system provider.
The new BDA will be located in the current ERRCS headend room Tl-2308.
Day Wireless is performing the following:
Mount and install the new BDA
Mount and install an associated BBU for the BDA only
Mount and install a new donor antenna and
Mount and install associated riser cable from the current headend room to the new rooftop donor antenna
Upgrade the existing electrical wall outlet to be a dedicated 20A circuit for purposes of providing power to the new ER RCS headend equipment
Interconnect the BDA with the existing ERRCS system and commission the system
