Description
This project, funded by the Transportation Levy, will establish three pedestrian rectangular rapid flashing beacon (RRFB) crossings along 156th Ave NE at NE 1st Street, NE 4th Street and NE 6th Street. Other work associated with the contract includes the removal of existing sidewalk, curb ramps, traffic curb and traffic curb and gutter as well as the installation of new sidewalk, curb ramps, traffic curb and gutter, an engineered gravity block wall, grind and overlay, the installation of three new crosswalks with pedestrian activated, RRFB flashing systems, removal and installation of signs and pavement markings.
