Permit Approval Scope:
Demolition of work done without permits on the south east portion of the property. Demolition to include portions of the existing deck and roof back to what was previously approved under a previous permit (08-103626 BR). Copies of the plans from this permit are included in the approved plans and include the following requirements for the south east deck:
1. The deck shall be a maximum of 6 feet and 6 inches in width measured from the house. The existing posts and beams are within the side yard setback and will need to be removed.
2. The deck shall be a maximum of 110 square feet in area. Using a width of 6 feet 6 inches, the length of the deck will be limited to 17 feet. Per our discussions at the city, we will allow the semi-circular portion of the deck to the south to be in addition to the 17 foot length.
3. The roof covering on the deck is limited to 4 feet off the exterior wall. See Section B-B and Detail 1 on Sheet A-3 of the plans.
